Garbage Truck Driver – CDL Class B

Job description

We are actively seeking experienced Rear Load Garbage Truck Drivers who hold a CDL Class B License. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in navigating assigned routes using route-ware and a commitment to always adhere to safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently complete trash collection as per the designated route.

  • Collaborate with assigned helpers to maintain strict safety adherence.

  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts.

  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues to management.

  • Maintain open and clear communication with management.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL-B License and Medical Certification.

  • Proven experience in operating a garbage truck.

  • A clean driving record.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $32.00; overtime pay applicable for hours worked beyond 40 per week.

As an Outside Sales Agent, you will spearhead our sales efforts to enhance market presence and client engagement. Your role involves independently managing your market area, executing strategic on-site events, and delivering persuasive presentations to drive sales and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Strategy Execution: Develop and implement a sales strategy to improve our market penetration

  • Client Relationship Management: Foster lasting relationships with existing and potential clients, including property managers and business owners.

  • Event Management: Organize and conduct on-site events like seminars and product demos to generate leads and elevate brand visibility.

  • Presentation & Negotiation: Craft and present compelling arguments for our services and negotiate sales contracts to close deals.

  • Identify and prospect new clients within the Staten Island area

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients

  • Present and demonstrate the benefits of our waste management services

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients
